TRANSPORT

Means of transport serving the area Circumvesuviana or national rail service from central station (Piazza Garibaldi to Castellammare di Stabia); metro del Mare – from June 01 to September 20 from Beverello wharf take line MM1, get off at Castellammare di Stabia. Metrò del Mare is a seasonal service. For information on activation period call center 199 600 700

Suggested means of transport. For path a – walking tour; for path b – walking up to thermal station, from there take red bus n. 12 to Pozzano
Alternative means of transport. By car take the motorway (autostrada) A3 NA-SA exit Castellammare, once arrived at the itinerary starting point, continue towards ss269 that leads to Faito (17 km approx).
By car take the motorway (autostrada) A3 NA-SA exit Castellammare, once arrived at the itinerary starting point, walk for 3 km up to Via Vecchia Pozzano

Defined path from Pozano it is possible to start the archeological stroll – Villa Arianna and Villa San Marco (free access) not recommended for physically disabled people

Transport tips: suggested means of transport – own car (or hired) from the starting point the distance is about 3 km (follow via panoramic from Pozzano then turn right toward Gragnano; on the first crossroad on left starts the archeological stroll).
Alterative transport by bus (not recommended): from the Port take red bus n.12, get off at Piazza Spartaco, from there take red bus n.1 up to Villa Ariana. To get tooVilla San marcoand Varano Park take the bus for the same bound
