Description o the several options:
Snorkeling and diving for those who
want to experience the true essence
of this sea, exploring every inch and
peculiarity. The Gaiola Center
for Interdisciplinary studies has planned
a series of snorkeling path which are
accessible to everybody, with different
degrees of difficulty and lasting time.
Those go from Marechiaro to Trentaremi
within the Gaiola underwater park area.
Boat Cruises available.
Sail-boat:
All the coastal area can be explored
on board of a 12 meters Sail-boat, starting
from Castel dell’Ovo to Nisida
volcanic island trough, Gaiola underwater
park.
Ferry:
The cruise is expressly dedicated to
Gaiola protected marine area, it is
held entirely within the territory of
the archeological area. From mariner’s
village to Trentaremi starting from
Gaiola harbor.
Trekking (on request):
Three itineraries on the tracks of ancient
roman’s Posillipo. From Kings
Valley to Gaiola and from Seiano to
Marechiaro village, trough Pausilypon,
overlooking at Gaiola.

of imperial Rome and it’s underwater
park proves this. Now as before it’s
possible to admire underwater villas,
roads and goods from that period.

Area diving centre” organizes
a boat excursion within the archaeological
area, with the boat still a diver
will shoot the ruins and the image
will be sent to a monitor on the boat.
