The route begins at the historical Caffè Gambrinus with an excellent Neapolitan coffee tasting, point between the New and Old Naples. This cafe was a meeting place for incredible confrontation between artists and poets, political dignitaries, travelers, members of Neapolitan aristocracy. The rising bourgeoisie. The route continues through the Piazza Trieste e Trento to reach the Teatro San Carlo, one of the most famous of the world and the largest theatre in the city of Naples, fronted by the famous Galleria Umberto I, a masterpiece of iron and glass built in the nineteenth century. Continuing towards the sea, the majestic Castel Nuovo, known as Maschio Angioino with its mass dominating the slope towards the sea, is the symbol of the city. From here you can then reach Via Toledo, one of the main arteries of the city that took the name from the Spanish viceroy who had it carried out. Almost entirely pedestrian on the long road that runs between Piazza Dante and Piazza Plebiscito overlook theatres, banks, cafes, shops and impressive noble palaces, like Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano now home to the prestigious Museum Zevallos preserving the amazing work by Caravaggio and last a body of seven nineteenth-century views of the city of Naples and the Campania territory.
